I bought this shortly after the R7, from the same seller, and for the same price. I'm using the same song to demo this, as I did with the R7, and they're both recorded with an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Both this, and the R7 have great sound quality (in my opinion), but the R7 is slightly better when it comes to clarity, while this is slightly better when it comes to bass-heavy songs.

I bought this used, and paid only $45 for it, so a tenth of what it costed new. I used to own an R6 a few years ago, but gotta say this R7 sounds even better, so I'm very happy with it so far :) #Samsung #SamsungR7 #bluetoothspeaker

I filmed this on my iPhone 12, but it turned out pretty shaky, and the striped cloth I used as a background, also turned out to be kind of a bad choice, resulting in lots of reflection on the back of the phone.. However, as I can't "re-do" the video, now that the box is already opened, and the seals are removed, I decided to upload it anyway..

‼HELP ME !. I have an exactly one like this and i want to have it repaired !. Contact "JVC" themselves (in Europe which is my territory) is no point though, and i´ve already tried that route. Just like ALL the home electronic vendors of today, their overall policy is; ""DON´T CALL US !.-WE NEVER SAY YES WHEN SOMEONE ASKS FOR SPARE PARTS !. We DON´T WANT TO help, we DON´T REFER to any other business that might have original or/and third part manufactured parts, and we DON´T GIVE A SHIT about your broken devices !"". "JVC", "Samsung", "Panasonic", "LG", "Sony" or "HP", it doesn´t matter, they´re all the same. I need a new set of spare parts that enables for the little plastic vertical silver tab on the cassette door, to open up the mentioned door when i switch it horisontally to the left. There is probably just a matter of some very fue and very basic mechanical little pieces (like some spring and perhaps a little of plastic stuff), although it would likely take a professional and some time to finish the job. HELP ME NOW !..
For parts, I would check eBay, and if you don't find what you need there, maybe by a cheap, second one, for parts? And when it comes to finding a repair shop, I would go to your lokal electronic store, and ask them where they send stuff that needs repairing. And then try to contact that repair shop directly.

Philips was forced to go further with 16 bit but this 14 bit dac is excellent. Dont care about specs and numbers...just listen. Its more musical than players that cost ten-fold

Not sure to be honest, as all the buttons are on the CD unit, and those two are connected with a ribbon wire.

Hahah Yeah, I guess that at least would have looked a bit more symmetrical 😅 However, when it comes to the sound, it didn't make much of a difference, as mids and highs are what mostly makes up the imaging 🙂
Just picked up two of these for € 20 (about US$ 22 for both) with speakers in a thrift/recycle store in the Netherlands after watching your video and the sound is surprisingly good and pretty loud for such small speakers. Especially with the active hyper bass pro switched on. CD, FM and AM work fine and they even cover the long wave band (144 - 288 kHz) we use here in Europe. Unfortunately on both of them the cassette deck does not work so I ordered some cheap belts and pinch rollers on Aliexpress, hope I can fix them both. Thanks for the video!
Sounds like you did a good deal :) And yeah, especially the belts, tends to go bad due to its age. Hopefully you'll be able to fix them tho :)
Did you tweak the settings for the shots or are they raw?
Some of them are shot in "Auto", but most of them are in "Manual", so I adjusted shutter speed, f-stop, and ISO myself. But none of these are edited afterwards tho :)

Yes some of those Samsung boomboxs do sound very nice and bassy i have the high end one with the cd player its funny because i decided to buy a high jvc boombox the one with the subs at the sides i didn't like the sound the bass was OK but it didn't sound very nice like the Samsung so i sold the jvc one and went back to the Samsung one now I'm happy i did get some of my money back from the jvc one lols just shows how nice sounding those old Samsung boombox sound's cool video by the way

Yes, I do :) The only "issue" I've had during these years, is when washing things that puts of the wieght balance (like for example washing just one pair of pants) I those cases I have to start the spin cycle manually, after the wash is finnished.
My father found a pair of these babys in a trash container and I've got them now for free. Little cosmetic damage, but they work exactly like new. Very nice sound for such small speakers! Hey from Denmark! :)

this looks like the best cd player i want a cd player for when i run out of space on vinyl and for albums that dont have official vinyl releases but do have official cd releases (e.g channel orange by frank ocean) but i dont want a super big one that takes up space cos i dont have the space for it. i see those wall mounted ones on tiktok but they have issues but this seems like a perfect option, it has good quality, is small, and i can use my headphones or current speakers and i can see the disc spin which is very important to me
As long as you find one in working order, and at a decent price, it wouldn't be a bad choice :) Especially if you're going to use headphones or your current speakers :)

Just looking at the specs, the am-m68d got a bit less power, but there's not a huge difference tho. So, that should work fine :) *or, if you don't mind going with a different brand, JVC got quite a few good mini/midi system from that time period as well :)
I had this exact same hifi only with the graphic Eq/spectrum analyzer and turntable bought for me by my dear grandpa..I loved that system so much and still miss it all those years later...It was stolen

It's from the album called "Stop Making Sense" However, on the Spotify version of this album, it sounds like they've mixed it a bit different, compared to the old vinyl version which this was recorded from. The closest I could find on Spotify, is on a "Various artist" album, called "Halloween" (from 2014)

Привет. Подскажите плж. Есть магнитофон шарп GF5454 ~80 года и есть там разъем сш5 и при подкл кабеля он играет очень тихо и в обход уселителя. Даже выключенным из розетки. На режиме приёмника идёт 2 паралельных сигна с радио и от сш 5. Радио регулируется звук и т.д. а второй сигнал не меняется. Как мне раздобыть AUX на этом мамонте
Не уверена. Можно попробовать использовать разъемы от магнитолы/кассеты. Но проще всего, я думаю, было бы использовать блютуз, либо с магнитолой со встроенным блютузом, либо с блютузом на FM-передатчике. Удачи :)

I modded my K800i …and converted it to K810i…loved it for many years…but K800i had its own personality….so I reverted back to K800i….loved the experience….

Thanks, this comparison is exactly what I was looking for. IKEA 7.2V has a force of 5 newtonmeters and costs 30 euros. Bosch IXO 6 has a force of 4.5 newtonmeters and costs 50 euros. To assemble IKEA furniture, should both work I believe but it’s good to know how much they can. The benefit of Bosch IXO is that you have adapters for 90-degree angle screws and another for corners where I have had problems with the IKEA one on some furniture, BUT you have to buy those separately. I haven't tried that myself. But, it should work if you just connect your headphones the normal way, and your device by using the aux-input on the rear :)
